iTestaccio app for iPhone and iPad

The iPhone application iTestaccio (iPad version soon to be released) is a
multimedia guide that accompanies the user through itineraries that
explore the urban landscape, ancient, modern and contemporary of the Museo Diffuso of Rione Testaccio in Rome.

The features of iTestaccio, organized under the categories of Locations,
Itineraries, and Multimedia (audio and video), can be accessed through a
menu. The user can configure and re-configure in real time the
modalities in which to access information.

All the information contained in the application are also available in
audio form for a more dynamic visiting experience.

Locations:
audio, text, and visuals (still images and video footages) describing
the main archaeological sites of the Rione Testaccio,
access to the Map for geo-referencing,
i-postcard function for the delivery via email of electronic postcards
depicting visited sites,
scancode to access the content in the application concerning individual
monuments

Itineraries:
Three thematic itineraries through the Rione Testaccio: Roman Age, Medieval and Modern Age and Contemporary Age

Multimedia:
direct access to images and videos for a customizable visit

The application iTestaccio is the product of a cooperation between the
Soprintendenza Speciale per i Beni Archeologici di Roma and the Ugo
Bordoni Foundation.
